The JHS Kilt V2 is an “Expandora style dirt box” that delivers a huge range of different dirt tones. Built around a core op-amp-based drive circuit, the Kilt offers toggles for cut/flat EQ control, along with a G1 and G2 toggle that adjust resistance values in the clipping section to foster a wide range of different drive flavors. In effect, the Kilt is capable of delivering a massive range of different dirt sounds, from light overdrive to full-on fuzz. Compared the V1 of this pedal, the V2 offers a more compact enclosure and the ability to control the G2 toggle via an external JHS Red Remote.
