The Membership Loyalty Points Program is designed to reward our loyal customers for their ongoing support. As a member of this program, you will earn points based on your subscription tier, which can be banked and used to buy the items you’re borrowing.

To become eligible for the Loyalty Points Program, you need to have an active membership subscription and make on-time payments for your monthly subscription fees. If you are late on your monthly subscription payment, you may not be eligible to earn points that month.

Points are earned with each subscription payment. The dollar value for each subscription tier is as follows: Opener – 100 points per month, Pro – 200 points per month, and Headliner – 500 points per month.

You need to accumulate at least 500 points ($10 redemption value) before you can start to redeem your rewards. Once you reach that threshold, you can start redeeming your rewards in blocks of $10 redemption value.

For now, you can use your banked rewards to buy the items you’re borrowing. This allows you to make the gear you love a permanent part of your collection while benefiting from the savings you’ve earned through the Loyalty Points Program. You can also use them toward any other purchases on the site.

If you pause your subscription, your points will be stored and remain available when you resume your subscription. However, if you cancel your subscription, you will lose any accumulated points and banked rewards.

As long as you’re a member, and your subscription payments are current, your points will not expire and they do not have a validity period.

BuyOrBorrow Music offers a Damage Protection Plan that’s available for any gear rental. It protects you from having to pay the entire cost of the item, repair costs, or any other liabilities in the event of unintentional damage to the product. It does not cover theft or loss of the gear.
