The Oneder Effects Wet Hot Modulated Echoverb is a compact delay, reverb and chorus pedal for players who like their ambience a little worn around the edges. Formerly known as the Wet Hot American Bummer, it uses the same circuit under a new name with fresh artwork. Developed with Neil Graham of Dr. Scientist and built by hand in Michigan, it goes from clean digital echo all the way to the warbly, noisy, sun-baked cassette sound that shoegaze and lo-fi players chase.
Three delay voices set the foundation. Digital mode gives crisp, balanced repeats, Tape mode fattens them up with color, and Lo-Fi mode thins them out so they slowly fall apart. The Mod knob sweeps from reverb into chorus and then into a lush modulated reverb that grows deeper the further you turn it. The Wow knob layers tape-style pitch drift and flutter on top, and the Noise toggle adds hiss for that old home-recording feel.
Run it as your main delay with tap tempo and a subdivision switch for quarter, eighth or triplet repeats. Turn Repeats all the way down and it becomes a standalone reverb or chorus, which makes it a real space saver on a crowded pedalboard. It works for dreamy ambient pads, indie rock slapback and lo-fi textures in a home recording setup. Hold the tap switch for an infinite repeat loop when you want a dramatic swell or a wall of noise.
No. Oneder Effects renamed the pedal and updated the artwork, but the circuit is the same.
Yes. Turn Repeats all the way down and use the Mod knob for reverb, chorus or both.
A 9V DC center negative supply from an isolated output. Shared daisy chain power is not supported.
No. Wow and flutter only shape the sound when delay or reverb is active.
