The Roswell Pro Audio Mini K67x delivers a unique blend of clarity, color, and musicality that stands out in the Mini K lineup. Designed, soldered, assembled, tested, and tuned in California, this large-diaphragm condenser offers the extended “air” of a modern mic with tube-like harmonic saturation from its custom transformer-coupled circuit. It ships with Roswell’s Cutaway™ shockmount and an upgraded flight case—and it’s in stock for immediate shipment.
Roswell created the Mini K67x to bring a fresh sonic voice to their family of mics: balanced yet flattering, open yet controlled, with tight bass response and a smooth top that complements vocals, guitars, and a wide range of acoustic sources.
“The Roswell Pro Audio Mini K67x is one of those rare affordable, mid-priced mic options with a unique sound that performs well beyond its price bracket.”
— Paul Vnuk, Recording Magazine
Feedback from users says it all—this mic holds its own against high-end tube microphones, delivers flattering vocal tone with minimal EQ, and consistently wins shootouts on reamped guitars, acoustic instruments, and modern R&B and rock vocals. Its color adds musical weight without sacrificing clarity, earning permanent positions on boom stands in studios of all types.
The “K67x” name reflects its two defining elements:
K67-style capsule, voiced with proprietary tweaks that create a sound unlike any other K67 variant
“x” for the transformer-coupled circuit, which introduces its signature harmonic saturation
The result bridges Roswell’s tonal spectrum—more neutral than a Mini K47, more character-rich than a Mini K87, and inspired by workhorse tube microphones from the 1960s that combined wideband response with smooth, musical harmonics.
Every Mini K67x undergoes a full 24-hour burn-in, followed by detailed testing for polarity, noise, frequency response, sensitivity, and overall performance. Each mic receives multiple listening tests and an acoustic sweep before it leaves the California facility.
The microphone features a durable gray metallic finish and includes the Cutaway™ shockmount, a Roswell microfleece mic sock, and a rugged flight case.

Proprietary 34mm capsule design
Vintage-inspired circuit with custom output transformer
Hand-picked audiophile-grade capacitors
Heavy, solid steel body with durable finish
Exclusive Cutaway™ non-resonant shockmount
Wideband frequency response for natural capture across voices and instruments
Subtle high-frequency dip reduces sibilance for smoother vocals
Tube-like harmonic saturation adds warmth and musical color
Rugged construction ensures long-term reliability
Low self-noise keeps your tracks clean and hiss-free
The Mini K67x introduces two defining sonic characteristics to the Mini K family: a proprietary capsule and harmonically rich transformer circuit.
The 34mm proprietary K67-style capsule took two years to develop, achieving full bass without mud, a gentle attenuation in the sibilant range, neutral highs, and extended “air” above 10 kHz.
The circuit borrows from Roswell’s flagship Colares, using a single-stage JFET/transformer topology, a custom-formulated bipolar capacitor designed specifically for this mic, a vintage European output capacitor, modern high-performance filter capacitors, and a custom-wound transformer that barely fits inside the body.
Each microphone’s gain staging is individually tuned so that harmonic saturation develops at moderate SPL—delivering tube-like richness without added noise or compressed transients.
