The EarthQuaker Devices Stereo Easy Listening is a fully analog stereo amp simulator that turns any quiet room into a rig. It sits at the end of your chain and delivers real amp voicing with zero latency and none of the brittle digital artifacts that make silent practice feel like a compromise.
The core voice pulls from the mid scooped warmth of a classic American amplifier, and the active three band EQ pushes well past that starting point. Bass, Middle, and Treble each cut and boost, so you can go from glassy clean to thick and midrange forward without touching another pedal. Run mono into the Left input and the pedal spreads your signal into stereo automatically, which sounds like two amps working together rather than one signal doubled.

Plug in headphones and practice at 2 a.m. without waking the house. Send the dual XLR outs to front of house and skip the mic and cab entirely at a small gig or on a fly date. Track straight into your interface for a direct guitar tone that already sounds finished. What power supply does it need?
A standard 9V DC supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. Current draw is 200 mA, so use an isolated output rated for at least that. Never run it at a higher voltage.
Can I use it with a mono pedalboard?
Yes. Plug into the Left input and the pedal converts your mono signal to stereo on its own.
Can I record with it directly?
Yes. The Left and Right XLR outs run straight to an interface, mixer, or PA, no mic or cab needed.
What does the Aux input do?
It takes a separate source, like your phone or a drum machine, and bypasses the preamp and cabinet simulation so your backing material stays clean. The Aux knob sets its level.
