It’s an effect that can be turned into an instrument on a whim, an evolving paint-splatter of everything you do. Or, if you’d rather, it can just be a really good echo.

A Digital Tape Reel That Never Stops
Habit’s secret is a digital tape reel that records every sound entering the pedal. As long as it’s on, it’s recording. At any moment you can scan back into that history and play moments from the past — instead of, or alongside, the present. The result is never-before-heard delays, bizarre loops and transitions, and even entire songs captured right inside the pedal.
Scan Through Your Past
Use the Scan knob to move freely through the memory, or let Habit do it for you. Set Scan low while you play for a while, then turn it up and start exploring what you caught. Turn up the Spread control to listen to two moments at once — the key to Habit’s multi-tap abilities.
Shape Every Echo
Trim, filter, and reshape your echoes into any form you want with Habit’s flexible modifiers, spread across two modifier banks. Dial in tape delay, dissolving echoes, shrinking subdivisions, and more. With up to 60 seconds of delay time, you can chase Frippertronics, generate loops, and build glacially evolving scenes.

Manual Mode
Keep Scan low until you’ve played for a while, then turn it up and dig back into your history.
Overdub Mode
Set the memory to overdub so long-form songs emerge just by playing into the pedal.
Feed Mode
Send the output back into the input to record live effects processing and knob movements straight into memory.
